Stuart Broster - Director (Operations / Sales and Marketing)

Stuart joined thenhotels in March 2008 as a director of operations.
 
Prior to this appointment, Stuart was Chief Executive Officer of LA Fitness health clubs (2005-2007). In 2004 Stuart privately acquired a hotel, of which he still has part ownership, and therefore this demonstrates the understanding of the non-branded side of the hotel business.

Stuart has excellent operational and investment experience, having held the role of President of Operations for Hilton Canada from 2001-2004 and as Managing Director for Living Well Health Clubs (Hilton PLC 1996-2001).
 

Nigel Atkinson - Director (Development / Operations)

Nigel joined thenhotels LLP as Development Director in November 2007 and is responsible for hotel development and assisting in the operational management of the groups assets.

Prior to this appointment Nigel worked as a high level consultant for the Board of morethanhotels Ltd, as well as providing  specialist consultancy for brands including Hilton Hotels, Holiday Inn, HM Forces, Underwoods LLP and Living Well

Nigel also has sound operational experience gained as general and area manager for Stakis.
 

Barrie Dunn - Financial Director

Barrie is the managing partner and financial director of thenhotels group.

Prior to setting up thenhotels group, Barrie was the finance director and shareholder of morethanhotels (2001-2007). Together with Richard McKevitt, Barrie helped grow the company which owned and operated 12 Express by Holiday Inn Hotels. The business was sold in Oct 07 for £120m.

Barrie's experience also includes being a member of the senior executive team at Stakis and Hilton, helping the company’s 40 UK wide hotels generate a turnover of £400 million.
 

Richard McKevitt - Asset Investment Director

In his current role as a principal partner and investor of the thenhotels group, Richard is predominantly responsible for asset managing the investments made by thenhotels Property LLP.
 
As operations Director and shareholder of morethanhotels (2001-2007) together with Barrie Dunn, Richard helped grow the company which owned and operated 12 Express by Holiday Inn Hotels. The business was sold in Oct 07 for £120m.
 
With over 25 years in the hotel industry, Richard has a wealth of experience. Prior appointments include Operations Director with the Whitbread Hotel Company from 1992-1995, during which time the group generated a turnover of £80 million.
 

Dave Tams - HR Consultant

Dave joined thenhospitality LLP as HR Consultant, responsible for advising the line management on all people issues.
 
Prior to this Dave has been in HR for over 20 years and has worked for RAC plc, as the HR Director for Lex Transfleet, a business to business vehicle leasing joint venture company with Lombard Bank, BAE Systems where he was the HR Director of their Aerostructures business and various senior positions with Marconi including the General Manager HR of their Australian business.
 
Dave’s experience includes people strategy, mergers and acquisitions, TUPE, employee relations and internal communications. A commercially focussed HR practioner Dave adds value by ensuring the people issues are dealt with and in a timely and professional manner.
